Andrew Jefford: Quite pale gold, with a hint of spritz. Quite forceful, pear-fruit aromas. Generous if slightly shoehorned in, Weinstube-style. Vivid, lively, lots of apple and pear, pure and artless. Not as concentrated as the best, but enjoy the exuberance. 15.5
Simon Larkin : Mid-lemon appearance, the merest hint of green. Pleasing aromas of whetstone, ripe citrus allied to some floral qualities. Palate similar in style. A mouthwatering style, tending more to green fruits, that disappoints on the finish due to a shrill quality to the acid. A shame, to say the least. 12.5
Alexander Scott: Almost indistinguishable from the Weingut Kruger-Rumpf Munsterer Dautenpflanzer. One would guess these must be from the same grower and next-door vineyards. Perhaps a shade fresher on the palate. 14
