Andrew Jefford: Pale lemon-gold. Warm, rich, lush aromatic profile, with lots of warm - fruited depths. Vivid and lush, if slightly unfocused. Very ripe, too - as it sits in the glass it almost suggests half-dried fruits, sun-shrivelled. Dense, full, almost explosive fruit qualities with lots of ripe, fruit-saturated acidity. A very attractive wine of really bracing concentration; a kind of mini-fruit essence. My high score is based on this impressive palate rather than the vague aroma. 16.5

Simon Larkin : Good intensity of appearance. Lively, gently floral apple and lime on the nose. The palate is well poised. Almost invigorating acidity. The fruit shows a ripe, almost tangy edge. Pure, well defined, with a slightly marked citric quality to acidity. No great sense of harmony here, since a bitter bite creeps into the finish. 11

Alexander Scott: Ripe fruit to smell, no marked features. Full palate with very obvious ripeness and perhaps some residual sugar. I wonder if this has been acidified, because there is a very slightly disjointed feel to its acidity, though this is hardly a big issue. Good wine, but I can’t quite get excited. 14
