Michel Bettane: Classically thoroughbred blanc de blancs, with lots of tiny bubbles and an impressive chalky character. 18
Simon Larkin : Great clarity and a pale golden hue. Cream, vanilla and white flower all discernible on the nose. Fine texture with assertive, yet refined, mousse. There is an enticing leanness here that reveals a taut, linear structure. This is destined to last. Already there is a bready, brioche-like complexity and a very fine, persistent finish. 17
Anthony Rose: Youthful golden hue. Persistent mousse. Subtle, complex aromas of grilled nuts, with a good attack of refreshing acidity. Honey and nutty characters, lots of fruit flavour, big cushion of bubbles and intensity of flavour with a clean, crisp and elegantly dry, savoury richness and a seriously classy fruit finish. Still youthful, with plenty of bottle-age potential. 19
