Michel Bettane: Super golden-green straw colour. Brut, almost yeasty nose, with toasty, biscuity flavours and a cool, crisp refinement. Refined, long and very natural - an authentic terroir Champagne. 16
Simon Larkin : Green-gold appearance of moderate intensity. Fine bead, too. Really mealy, leesy quality on the nose. Understated fruit characters and good complexity. The palate seems finely expressed. There is a pleasing mousse with toasty edged fruit and mineral race. Mouthwatering and zesty in style. A taut, lean style that promises greater things to come. Pure and defined. 16
Anthony Rose: Youthful, pale yellow-gold, glints of green. Unusual nose, almost like hay or straw. Nice fruit richness on the palate, with clean, crisp Chardonnay acidity and nicely bottle-aged characters coming through. Intense fruit flavours with an almost limey, fresh acidity for balance, youth and finesse. 16.5
