Michel Bettane: Very pure, light straw tones. Classical and straightforw ard, showing good balance and craftsmanship. 17

Simon Larkin : Comparatively pale lemon in appearance. Some bready, brioche-like aromas, with a citrus aspect. A pleasing sense of balance, and a modest mousse, though there is no luxuriant note to this. Straight forward in style, with modest length. Nothing more than a sound, good -quality example. 12.5

Anthony Rose: Pale coppery gold suggests Pinot fruit; lively bubbles in the glass. Good, clean, berry fruit nose; nice, elegant mousse and richness in the mouth. A creamy, textured fizz with an elegantly dry aftertaste. 14.5
