Michel Bettane: Developed colour; just a hint of oxidation on the nose. Heavy-handed use of dosage liqueur (ratafia). 11
Simon Larkin : A deep lemon-gold hue with heavy oxidative, vanillin elements on the nose. Poor representation of fruit here - really poor. No precision, purity or character. This is an edgy effort, disjointed in nature. Tangy citrus, but little harmony. A very average effort. 10.5
Anthony Rose: Deepish yellow-gold. Baked apple. Rather flat and aged on the nose. An aged gout anglais style with some vanilla and toffee-apple fruit. Medium length, ending a little short. Drink now. 13
