Stephen Brook: Rich, flowery nose, apples. Sweet, quite concentrated, lush texture; hedonistic but atypical Mosel, lacking zest and elegance, but masses of fruit; medium length. 15.5

Andrew Jefford: Full green-gold. Closer, more ‘felty’, nuttier style of aroma than many of its peers. Full, generous, open-textured, lots of sweetness, but lacks the taut mineral backbone needed for greatness. 13

Jancis Robinson: This smells as though there may even be a few botrytised grapes in the blend - unlikely, I know... This is exceptionally ripe, but with an impressive undertow of minerality. Many an Auslese tastes like this, but good lively acidity on the finish. Rewarding mid-term drinking. Drink 2005-13. 16
