Stephen Brook: Firm nose, inexpressive but quite mineral, shows some promise. Very sweet, appley; has some underlying acidity, quite tangy; attractive upfront fruit but little complexity. Quite good length. 15
Andrew Jefford: Very pale water-gold. No great charm or interest here: too much sulphur and touch of kidney (I). Full-on, lots there, but coarse handling leads to coarse characters, with Chinese-restaurant sweet-and-sour finish. No! 10
Jancis Robinson: Very big, broad and almost more oaky than veg or fruity on the nose. Extremely powerful character made by same? Great confidence - lovely acid level as well as all these broad, ripe, distinctive terroir-influenced characters. Lovely pure acidity and real integrity. Drink 2007-19.17
