Anthony Rose: (base 2010, disgorged 2017) A tad subdued as yet on the nose, this displays a gentle subtle toastiness, incipiently youthful Charles vanilla character, lovely richness of texture, with fine lemony mousse and incisive fresh acidity, at this stage the sweetness and acidity still coming together, but looking likely to develop just as well as the Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve NV Mis en Cave 2009.
