Tim Atkin : Big voluminous colour, big voluminous wine. Slightly baked and raisiny nose. Very ripe, but not terribly appetising. Very high alcohol, concentrated fruit flavours, but the added acid is drying the wine out. Please stop making this style of wine - it is not what Western Australia is about. 12

Oz Clarke: Quite deep red. On the nose, rather attractive red cherry and blackcurrant and mint. On the palate, this is good. It's full and a little serious, but has lots of life and sparkle to it. Black plum veering towards blackcurrant fruit, nice acid and well-blended tannin, and this refreshing mint lift. This is good, serious, but very enjoyable Cab - minty, fairly deep, dry but full of enjoyable fruit. 17.5

Michael Schuster: Black-red; oaky blackberry nose; strong (im posed) structure of acid and tannin dominates the brisk ripe fruit and shortens the palate. Overacidified and overoaked. Too bad. 13.5
