Michael Schuster: Dense, cedar oak nose; medium-bodied, soft-centered, sinewy frame-lacking scope for its class, at least the tannins currently seem to dominate the cherry fruit. Severe. Not bad; not Troisieme Cru. 14+?

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Notes of soot (from the oak) and licorice; supple, fleshy and suave with refined texture, but lacks precision in the mid-palate. 15/16
