Michael Schuster: Strong, sweet, new oaky nose; well-balanced, fairly full, soft ripe fruit under firm tannin; quite long, classy flavour dominated by dry oak at present; also seems a little 'hot'. New barrel sample? Clearly, a great deal of effort has gone into making this - in a slightly 'forced' Right Bank style. Good... if that’s how you want your Margaux! 16+?

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Terrifically mouth-filling and presently dominated by expressive oak but not fully open yet. Perhaps a little too extracted when compared to the true character of the estate Cabernets. 15
