BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Made from more than two-thirds Semillon (85% of the blend), this cuvee is fast becoming an exception in a region of great white wines that are increasingly based on Sauvignon Blanc. Neat, deep but fairly restrained aromas of acacia honey, very rich and powerful, with a perfectly dry finish despite high alcohol. 17/18
