Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: One of our favourite wines this vintage and admirably crafted by Catherine Papon-Nouvel, now regarded as one of the appellation's most sure-footed winemakers. Made from 80% Cabernet Franc, this glorious wine has superlative finesse but not at the expense of substance, and the tannins are infinitely sleek. Simply unmissable. 17/18
