Andrew Jefford: Pale to mid-depth of red. Fresh cherry and cherry-kernel scents. Lively, fresh, and juicy at first, but opens up impressively on the palate to finish with a flourish. Much greater density and power than the Bourgogne tout court, and certainly worth what will be no more than an extra £1.25 in bottle. 14.5
