Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; intense, clear-cut, Pinot nose; nicely balanced, moderately concentrated, medium-full wine with a lively acidity and fine, dry tannin. Crisp, scented, long in the mouth, subtly complex, clearly premier cru, and with fine, scented length. A lovely premier cru Chambolle that will need a few years because of its relative firmness, but will become very nicely delineated. 2012–22. 16.5
