BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: Mid-puple; crisply ripe, lightly oaky red-cherry Pinot; vivid lightweight with a crisp red-cherry fruit: pure, clean, straightforward. A little pinched on the finish because of the acidity, but with food that would be no problem. Give it a year or two in bottle and it will be delicious at a lesser level. Very nice of its type. 2009–12. 14
