Stephen Brook: Red fruits and violets on the nose, which is quite intense. Fairly rich and concentrated, but curiously less gripping than the Village Gevrey. Spicy, but fleshy too. Quite impressive acidity and length. 16.5
Andrew Jefford: Full red. Sweet, warm, rounded, enticing, and graceful. Deep and exuberant, but without quite the same fleshiness on the palate that the nose seemed to promise. Dry, almost tart finish. 14
