Andrew Jefford: Dark, clear red. Great grace and harmony here: smooth, sweet, soft, glycerous, elegant, soft-fruited. No precise focus but great generalized charm. Soft, open, choice, juicy; appealing ripeness; delicate tannins; soft, tarry fruits. Delicious, digestible, juicy, fresh, and charming: a great success this year. The vintage’s assets summarized in a single red wine. 16.5

Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; light, floral, scented Pinot to smell; supple, yet fresh with a very delicate tannin; pure, red-fruit flavor of clear premier cru complexity and length across the palate, with the overall delicacy typical of the grower; fine, discreet, scented, and with a good persistence of aftertaste. Drink relatively soon. 2010–20. 16+
