Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; brisk, dense, minerally nose; elegantly balanced, fresh, moderately concentrated middleweight, with a very fine-grained tannin; long, gently racy, refined flavor combining ripe fruit and clear minerality, with the pronounced scent of a good premier cru; lovely perfumed length, very satisfying, without being large-scale. A fine premier cru, and refined for Argillières. 2012–22. 16.5
