Michael Schuster:Deepish purple-red; a nice richness to smell here, medium-full, fresh, with an attractive concentration, restrained in its tannins; sweet, gently juicy, gently fleshy wine, with a most toothsome vitality, long to taste, just a hint of the dry wood in the texture at this stage, subtle and very persistent to finish. Not a big wine, but absolutely complete. A most flattering Echézeaux which will be deliciously accessible relatively young. 2020–30+.
