Andrew Jefford: Slightly lighter in color than the Vaucrains or the Cras. Sumptuous and creamy, with clove spice. Vivid, fresh, spicy, and intense, with warm curranty fruits given a chocolate edge. Not a wine of huge finesse or polish, but there is lots there to enjoy, and it will provide great pleasure for the best part of a decade. 16.5
