Margaret Rand: Fine, smoky nose, refined and elegant, linear and tight—but there’s great depth there, too. 17 Michael Schuster: Pale gold; peachy fruit to smell, a touch of new oak; a benchmark village Puligny, as usual; supple, deliciously fresh, vividly ripe and with plenty of fruit; modest complexity, but with purity, length, and completeness at the top end of the village level. Very nice. Ready now, and over next 3–4 years. 15.5
