Andrew Jefford: Pale red. Coffee and plant sap: pure and true. Vivid, long, and lean. Redcurrant fruit; a light skin of tannin betraying the wine’s surface tension (as on hot milk). There is some juicy exuberance within this generally slim profile: will it survive bottling? Redcurrant and raspberry perfumes to finish. Nicely done, but drink soon. 14
