Michael Schuster: Mid-purple; light, fresh, red fruit and mineral nose, nicely defined, and refined; well balanced, very lightly and finely tannic; fresh, pure, linear Burgundy; sweet and crisp and delicate with premier cru finesse rather than premier cru complexity in evidence—i.e., ripe, but on the cusp of ripeness rather than fully ripe (that said, this is not mean or green in any way). Good gentle, scented length; fine lesser premier cru to drink relatively early, and over not too long a period. 2011–16. 15.5
