BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: From young vines, fourth harvest. Light, relatively neutral, faintly fruity nose; soft medium-weight with an attractive ripe fruit; but the young-vine character does come through as a lack of complexity on the finish, even though the scent is persistent. Stylish, though, and promising for when it is older! But without the minerality and complexity of the Clos St Jean. Drink young. 16.
