Stephen Brook: Bold oaky nose but subdued now. Stupendously rich but seems solid after Chevalier; powerful and spicy but not the same finesse. Lovely minerality without any coarseness. Has drive and energy and great persistence but not, at present, the bravura of Chevalier. Very good length. 18.5
