Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; very ripe fruit and clear underlying minerality alongside the coconutty oak; rich and vivid, both ripeness and acidity here; broad and succulent, but also with a great tenacity of flavor, a mouth-coating scent and complexity; a wine of considerable scope and minerally complexity and excellent length. Perhaps not a long keeper, but plenty of terroir character and quality, for relatively early drinking. A very good premier cru in the vintage. Now–2018. 16.5/17
