Michael Schuster: Pale lemon; youthful and a bit raw to smell. Quite coconut-oaky; nicely balanced middleweight, with a ripe fruit, fresh acidity, and very marked limestone background to the flavor; quite rich and “Chassagne” supple, but fresh enough, with clear premier cru complexity and excellent aromatic length; probably not for the long term, but stylish and complete. (A touch of woodiness on this barrel sample.) To drink young, though. 16
