While this is not my favorite climat, it’s an excellent showcase for whole-bunch. Marconnets, as should be expected, is full-bodied, luscious, and ripe. The smoothness on the approach and the looseness of texture could be dull on its own, but the herbal crunch and tannic bite freshen and energize the palate. 2023–28. | 90–91
