From a steep slope planted in the 1930s. Lots of limestone. Vivacious and vivid. Airy, light, elegant, streamlined Pommard. The sweetness of the vintage is apparent in the intensity, but without richness. It’s super-trim and pure. Pink peppercorn and salty, black chocolate. Very fine, talcy texture. A light almond-kernel bitterness on the refined finish. 2023–32. | 95
