Ripe morello-cherry richness on the nose, with perfumed highlights, showing the warm summer and the exposure of the slope. So, the palate is a contrast. Immediately juicy, but shows grip mid-palate. It has vitality and firm, savory minerality. Those tannins are made strict by the limestone. There’s black pepper and sea salt on the finish.2023–30. | 90–91
