Alison Buchanan: Very pretty pale yellow gold, limpid and bright, this has a rather subdued, slightly floral nose with hints of fondant allied to orchard fruit. The palate is perfectly amiable, well–balanced with all ingredients there and no distinctive hard edges. It is just not particularly exciting at this point. As a food wine the relative austerity of the mineral element allied to a refreshing acidity will work well but this is not made for quaffing. Taut, disciplined and focused through to a long, stony finish. 14.5

Alex Hunt: Tightly wound, mineral nose. The flavor and texture is carried more by lees than by fruit. Agreeable but not thrilling. 13.5

Andrew Jefford: Mid green–gold. More rounded than most of its peers; slightly soupy in style. Sweet and pleasant nonetheless. Pretty simple in style, without any great finesse (machine harvested?), concentration or density. Some rawness; picked on day one of the ripeness spectrum. No faults either; a basic pass mark. 11
