Stephen Brook: Light gold. Muted stone-fruit aromas. Rather slack attack, lacking some intensity; sweet, pure, and almost racy, but does lack some weight and power. Understated for Tour Blanche. Sound, with an attractive texture and no lack of fruit, but it lacks some flair and panache. Quite good acidity and length. 14.5
Andrew Jefford: Full, glowing gold. Restrained, a little dry, correct enough but lacks fatness, width, and exuberance. On the palate, bigger-textured than the aromas implied, with lots of fat here. The style is quite simple, popcorn-like, with lots of sweet cream and banana but little summer fruit, inner tension, or balancing acidity; the finish is tangy. Sound, jolly stuff overall, once again for early drinking. 14
Michael Schuster: Bright gold; rich and vivid to smell, a citrus-edged honey and wax; very nicely balanced, moderately rich, concentrated wine with attractive balancing acidity; intensely sweet but not heavy; long, rich, and spicily complex in flavor, with superb length; a complete, classy, elegant, satisfying, harmonious, middleweight Sauternes; absolutely delicious already, and good prospects, too. Now to 2024+. 17+
