Michael Schuster: Mid-gold; dense, relatively closed, but promising combination of fruit, minerality, and coconutty new wood to smell. Fairly concentrated, but without the usual “fat” of this vineyard, and with only a moderate acidity, for an AOC that is on the softer side anyway; broad, ripe, long, but understated in the mouth; density, yes, and tenacity of flavor, but lacking lift and excitement, especially for the price and for what it is. From 2012. 17?
