Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-deep, holding the ruby hue, though a touch of orange on the finish. Clean, herby/minty nose, some oak. Soft and juicy-fruity on the palate; a pleasure now but what does the future hold? Drink now for a few years. 16.5
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny rim. Broad, mature, a touch volatile on the nose, with dried prunes and smoked red meat. Medium to full body, yet fairly short and green on the finish. 14
Andrew Jefford: Dark, somber red. Warm resins, fine leather: mmm! Vivid, fresh, long, and lively, with red- and black-plum fruits subsiding into those sweet leathery notes at the end of the palate. Neither the concentration nor the tannic structure and texture suggest huge ambition, but this is a deft, wellcrafted wine of effortless classicism. Yet again, vintage and place combine to winning effect. 16
