Jasper Morris: Full red and deep orange color. Lovely sweet fruit on the nose, coupled with a touch of oak. Full mouthful, the fruit could use a touch more vibrancy, but it is full and satisfying. A little touch of licorice, ripe strawberry fruit, notable structure but much less dry than the dark years. Super perfume still and a wealth of fruit on the palate— what’s not to be happy about with this wine?
