Full-on typicité for Clos de Vougeot, rather than the more elegant profile I seem to be encountering from it more often in 2019. For sure, the texture is suede-smooth, but this is a broad-shouldered, powerful wine, with punchy grip and a strong, showy finish. 2025–35. | 95–96
