Alex Hunt: Juicy, refined, and quite persistent, this is an approachable expression of Côte de Brouilly that nonetheless shows the taut, mineral character of the cru on the finish. 87

Andrew Jefford: Dark, dense purple-red. Bright raspberry and cherry fruits with a kind of washday-fresh quality to them: very alluring, fragrant, and attractive. On the palate, a fruit balloon, sailing though the air, shedding basketfuls of sweet raspberry and sour cherry as it goes. Totally delicious and very close to the all-time Beaujolais ideal. “Simple”—but so wonderfully simple that you almost attain complexity. 90

Peter Liem: While this is luscious and ripe, its fruit remains lively and fresh in tone, feeling buoyant and energetic on the palate. It’s taut in structure, underlined by an insistent stoniness, and it finishes with graceful, fragrant length. 92
