Alex Hunt: Pure and composed on the nose, showing more Morgon than 2015 character. The palate somehow manages to be light in body and at the same time sit densely, solidly on the tongue— brilliant tension. There’s a real, rocky grip to the texture, and yet it’s open and accessible. Masterful Morgon. 92
Andrew Jefford: Deep purple-red. Sweet, warm, and soft: generously contoured black fruits teased to perfect ripeness. Deep, vivid, amply textured and long, with rich black-cherry fruits, a grassy touch behind (which I hadn’t expected based on the aromas), and stony purity and depth. Concentrated Côte de Py with both drama and allure. 89
Peter Liem: Bold and ripe, this is taut in build, finishing with savory tannin and a spicy heat from its alcohol. It’s lively and tense, underlined by stony minerality. 87
