Alex Hunt: 79
Andrew Jefford: Saturated deep purple-red. A tiny note of reduction, which clears swiftly, leaving considerable aromatic polish and finesse here: fresh blackcurrant and black-cherry fruits, floral notes, dried citrus peel, and root spice, all expressed with great harmony and finesse. Some oak, but well-incorporated. On the palate, this has depth, density, poise, aromatic finesse, and tannic mass. A very commanding Moulinà- Vent, which will age effortlessly for a decade at least, yet which would also drink well young provided it is at table, where the generous tannins can find protein to act as a foil. 93
Peter Liem: Dark and vivid in tone, this is bordering on overripeness, yet it’s held in check by a firm structure and stony, soil-driven undertone. Put this in the cellar, and give it time to settle down. 90
