Andrew Jefford: Dark, glittering purple-red. A little bit grassy on the nose, but plenty of fresh cherry fruits, too. On the palate there is something green, too—but otherwise this is an outstanding wine with lots of purity, lift, and vivacity, with a great sheaf of fruit to it and with a lovely stony bittersweet finish, so I’m inclined to regard that pastel green in the background as a part of its freshness and poise. 90

Peter Liem: Round and full in body, this shows both the generosity and the structure of the cru, its dark, cherry-like flavors feeling youthful and taut. This feels capable of further complexity and expression down the road and really deserves a few years in the cellar. 91
