BUY THE WINE

Alex Hunt: Pure, vibrant nose, even if relatively closed and youthful. The promise of lovely fruit to come. A light style, crisp and surprisingly delicate for Morgon. Good, straight-down-the-line stuff. 86

Andrew Jefford: Deep purple-red. Sweet, warm, compost— some mixed ripeness here, but overall an attractive and complex aroma. Dense, plush, ripe yet vivid: ample cherry and apple fruit and a little tarry complexity at the end. The tannins are much softer than for many wines this year, making for a graceful wine of great charm. 88

Peter Liem: This is broad and loose-knit, showing a pleasant ripeness but lacking a little structure and definition. It feels forward and approachable, and typically bistro-like. 85
