BUY THE WINE

Simon Field: Deeper purple coloring; nose of myrtle and hints of dark chocolate. Plummy notes on palate, then a little raw, with quite firm acidity and slightly drying tannins. A shade overworked and slightly hot on the finish, but no shortage of matière - 14.5

Alex Hunt: Creamy, blackcurrant, and plum-skin aromas; feels quite “worked.” Ripe, supple entry quickly tightens up to a somewhat blunt, closed mid-palate. Chewy finish. Sort of modernist/rustic - 13.5

John Livingstone-Learmonth: Dark, intense deep red; smoky blackcherry- fruit air, not yet varied, is monolithic around clean cellar fruit and has a nice plump nature. The palate runs easily, with a hint of game in the black fruit. The tannins are clean, rounded, blending in well already, with just a dash of grain on the aftertaste. Well-made, serious wine; will not disappoint. It is a little low on soul, showing Mourvèdre at late stages. 2013–22 - 14.5
