Simon Field: Hedonistic strawberry-and-cream nose, Rubenesque in scope. The palate is unsurprisingly good-natured, broad-minded, and tolerant, the fruit character indulged with relish, and the tannins supple and seemingly somewhat submissive, until the very end of the palate, where they kick in with a vengeance. This offers pleasure for the short-term but then, quite possibly, disappointment - 14
Alex Hunt: An off-putting nose of sour cheese— old Mimolette rind or something. Rather bruised fruit in the mouth. An ugly wine - 11
John Livingstone-Learmonth: Slightly advanced on the top rim of the robe; dark plum within—not encouraging. Lactic, droopy air; sweaty-saddle country; feral. The palate is fleshy from its Grenache, tannins are for the most part inside it, but the finish washes up on dry shores. Disorderly wine. Has peppery outcrops through it. Triple-decant. Very dry aftertaste - 10
