Andrew Jefford: Pale, but a distinctively old-gold hue, not green-shot. Soft grass and spring beech leaf; delicate; aromatically unassertive. Full, rather weighty; some tasters would describe this as oxidative. I like the style, because it seems to emphasize the earthy, mineral spectrum of flavors rather than the fruit spectrum. Bottled with some spritz for textural lift. Gastronomic, chewy Sauvignon, with a vinous finish; definitely not an apéritif15
Andreas Larsson: A quite ripe nose, floral and aromatic, though with some alcohol shining through. The flavors are rather grapey, with citrus notes and a fair amount of bitterness; doesn’t feel very balanced to my palate11
Stephan Reinhardt: Bright golden color: CO2. Dusty nose, white fruits. Needs some air contact to develop riper, more yellow and intense fruit flavors. Seems to be grown in a warm and dry vintage. Full-bodied, broad, and powerful on the palate. Quite rich and alcoholic, almost narcotic. Massive. Good acidity. Reminds me of South African Sauvignons13
