Alex Hunt: A well-pitched nose: not green, not soupy, offering fresh ripe berry fruit and a touch of herbs. The palate is light-bodied, without demonstrable oak, yet shows impressive depth of flavor, with a mineral layer, seamless texture, and plenty of vigor. All very neat- 15.5
Andrew Jefford: Dark black-purple in color: youthfully beguiling. Fresh, light, lifted fresh-fruit aromas of brightness and crisp definition, with a sweet tobacco-leaf sheen. Attractive and appetizing. A deep, grippy, assertive, and energetic wine that lunges across the tongue and leaves it wide awake. Attractive mineral, ferrous notes; a sense of violet freshness to the fruit. A smoky hint to finish. As a simple, exuberant, and finely crafted expression of variety and place, this is hard to fault- 16.5
Simon Larkin: Bright rim, good deep core. The aromas suggest leafy nuanced cherry and blackcurrant, lifted and fresh. Bright attractive fruit on the palate, too; mid-weight. Appealing, sleek texture and good depth behind. Slight rasp of youthful acidity on finish but not in a negative manner; instead, lifts finish. Nothing forced here: an elegant, vibrant, slightly earthy expression. A supple, forward style- 13.5
