Alex Hunt: Ripe berry fruit, clean and juicy, and quite good depth, but dominated by acidity (aided and abetted by CO2). Despite wellproportioned tannins, this ends up an aggressive mouthful- 12
Andrew Jefford: Saturated black-red. Warm, fresh red fruits, with a sense of mixed ripeness here. Vivid, fresh, lively, salty edges, with an impressive intensity to the central palate. There is less sense of mixed ripeness and more sense of full ripeness here. The finish is licoricey, poised, balanced, with bustling tannins. Not a great wine, but certainly a good one- 14.5
Simon Larkin: Appealing ripe berry fruit on the nose, leafy notes in background. The palate has a touch of aggression about it. Very lively fruit, rasping acidity—sappy, herbaceous with bags of acidity. A little disconcerting. The fruit on show is bright and vibrant, but the marked, lean nature is off-putting. A hard style- 9.5
