BUY THE WINE

Michael Schuster: A beautifully fragrant nose; a rich, fresh, and very finely tannic constitution; sweetly redfruit- ripe in flavor, long to taste, savory, complex, close-grained, very elegant and with, as in 2015, a finesse which is unusual for this wine, finishing with a marked length of perfume and fragrance. A really lovely d’Armailhac. 2026–36+.91–93

Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: Beautiful notes of cedar. A precise wine, elegant flesh and texture, and it will most probably be affordable en primeur.95–96
