Andrew Jefford: Mid-gold on the cusp of deepening. Fresh, sweet, light, and lifted aromas with perfectly articulated botrytis and well-judged oak. Plenty of developmental trajectory ahead here. Fresh, lemony. On the palate, the wine is poised, fresh, elegant, and still youthful, with lots of lemony lift. Very precise; very well-balanced; only moderate concentration but fine length. A vintage benchmark. Now to 2028. 91
Stephen Brook: The nose is powerful and oaky, with a slight lack of fruit definition. Stone fruits, pears, and cooked pineapple lurk in the background. The palate is creamy and voluptuous, with fine depth of fruit without any heaviness. The acidity keeps it lifted and almost pungent, and the length is impressive. This is a Sauternes that combines swagger and finesse. 95
